Just Cause is an open world action-adventure video game developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Eidos Interactive. A sequel to the game developed by Avalanche Studios, published by Eidos Interactive and distributed by Square Enix titled, Just Cause 2, was released on March 23, 2010.
Just Cause is an army game which begins with Rico Rodriguez, an operative for an organization known as the Agency, being dropped into a Caribbean tropical island called San Esperito, after being called there by his commanding officer, Tom Sheldon, to help overthrow San Esperito's dictator; Salvador Mendoza, whom the Agency believes to be in possession of weapons of mass destruction.^[3] After his arrival, Rico rendezvouses with Sheldon, as well as their partner and fellow agent Maria Kane, and they ally themselves with a Guerrilla group staging a rebellion against the regime and the Rioja drug cartel, another enemy of the government. Rico assists them in their civil war against Mendoza's corrupt officials; Black Hand mercenaries and the Montano cartel. Rico can also assist in the liberation of various territories to further destabilize the government's rule over the island.
Eventually, Sheldon discovers that Mendoza does, indeed, have control of WMDs, and with San Esperito so politically unstable, the president is forced to retreat to his private presidential island just off the mainland. Sheldon and Kane fly Rico to the island to kill Mendoza, but he attempts to escape via jet. However, Rico boards the jet and kills Mendoza and his remaining bodyguards, stopping his reign on the islands.^[4][5]
The core gameplay consists of elements of a third-person shooter and a driving game, with a large, open world environment to move around in. On foot, the player's character is capable of walking, swimming, and jumping, as well as utilizing weapons and basic hand to hand combat. Players can take control of a variety of vehicles, including cars, boats, fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, and motorcycles. Players can also perform stunts with their cars in which they can stand on the roof and jump to another car, or choose to open their parachute while still in motion on the roof. Other key features of the game include skydiving, base jumping, and parasailing (by latching onto a moving car or boat while one's parachute is deployed). The game bears striking similarity to the Grand Theft Auto games released around the same time.
The open, non-linear environment allows players to explore and choose how they wish to play the game. Although storyline missions are necessary to progress through the game, players can complete them at their own leisure. When not taking on a storyline mission, players can free-roam. However, doing so can attract unwanted and potentially fatal attention from the authorities.
The player can also partake in a variety of optional side missions, for example, liberating a village or taking over a drug cartel hideout. These are necessary to gain points with certain factions.

Road Rash is the name of a motorcycle-racing video game series by Electronic Arts, in which the player participates in violent illegal street races. The game was originally released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, but was ported to several other systems. Six different games were released from 1991 to 1999, and a 2003 licensed port for the Game Boy Advance was released. Road Rash and two of its sequels later appeared on the EA Replay collection for the PSP.
The game's title is based on the slang term for the severe friction burns that can occur in a motorcycling fall where skin comes into contact with the ground at high speed.
Road Rash has a smoothly rendered vertical element. In most earlier racing games, the player's vehicle remains on the same horizontal plane, negotiating turns essentially by going right or left. In Road Rash, players have to contend with grade changes, and the physics reflect the act of going up or down a hill, as well as turning while climbing. This results in the ability to launch one's motorcycle great distances, resulting in crash animations. Road Rash also has an interactive race environment, with street signs, trees, poles, and livestock, which can interact with the player's vehicle.^[1] This was also one of the earlier games to feature active traffic, such as slow moving station wagons and the like while racing against other bikers.
The player can fight other bikers with a variety of hand weapons or kick away other racers. The player initially starts off with just hands and feet, but can grab a weapon from another rider by timing a punch correctly. The weapons include clubs, crowbars, nunchaku, and cattle prods. The loser of a fight sustains bike damage in addition to losing time.
The motorcycle police officers fight the player as another opponent, and serve as game play enforcers by culling players who fall too far behind or choose to explore the world rather than race in it. Losing a fight with an officer or being caught by an officer while off one's motorcycle causes the player to be "Busted", ending the race.
In the earlier games, each race locale consisted of a single road, and as the player progressed through the levels the finish line would be placed farther down the road.

Starting from dealing with your cousin Roman, a small time operator prone to gross exaggeration, you'll move your way up through criminal rings until you get what you want. Unlike GTA characters of the past, though, Niko isn't trying to prove himself as some sort of badass for the ages, driven to rule the city no matter what. He's looking for something, and the missions he undertakes are really the only way for him to find it. He may perform a number of ruthless acts (which you, by the way, instruct him to), but there are points during the story where you can ease your finger off the trigger or make a choice as to how things proceed. Despite the kind of senselessly violent tendencies many may associate with GTA characters, Niko represents an exception in many respects, as he has a code by which he operates. 
 
The game's infrastructure has been made more convenient, though there's still space to improve. If Niko fails a mission, a message asking to retry it pops up as soon as you respawn, and when you die you don't lose your entire arsenal. Getting across the gargantuan metropolis is made easier by hailing cabs that take you to waypoints on your map. Stealing a car and driving yourself is always an option, as is the more immersive element of actually riding in the cab's backseat the whole time, staring out the windows at the passing lights. For anyone who's short on time or would prefer to forego the random dangers of driving across a GTA world, the cabs are certainly welcome. 

Still, you'll be doing quite a bit of mission restarts, and that often means repeating large chunks of the challenges. Many missions break down into an initial travel segment, some kind of escalation event, a conflict, and an escape. Getting through the on-foot shooting sequences, a real headache with the clunky control schemes of games past, has been made much better with the inclusion of a cover system and, as with all PC versions, mouse and keyboard support for aiming and shooting. From behind cover it's possible to blind fire, rapidly pop out to unload a few shots, or move cover to cover, a system that doesn't always work perfectly but is a definite step up for the series. It's possible to use a gamepad as well, which handles vehicles better than a mouse and keyboard. You can even switch freely between the control devices. Juggling the two input methods depending whether you're driving or shooting is pretty awkward, but it's great that Rockstar built it in without forcing you to fiddle with a control input menu toggle. And if you have to pick one, it's far easier to shoot from a moving car with the mouse and keyboard.

f you purchased a retail copy of Windows 7, chances are your installation disc didn’t come with SP1 included. That means if you want to reinstall Windows 7 at a later date you’ll have to reinstall from the disc, then download all of those updates again, a time-consuming and frustrating process. There’s another problem too: should you ever want to perform a repair installation of Windows 7 by choosing the “Upgrade” version, typically to fix a major system problem, then you’ll have to uninstall SP1 first from your computer before doing so – more time wasted and hair lost.
The answer lies in getting hold of a copy of the Windows 7 installation disc with the Service Pack 1 updates already included. You can do this manually using a tool called RT Seven Lite, but yet again it’s time-consuming, fiddly and – you guessed it – potentially frustrating.
Alternatively, you can download a legitimate image of the Windows 7 disc with the SP1 files already included. All you have to do is download the ISO file here, then burn it to disc by double-clicking the file and popping in a blank DVD when prompted. Once done, boot from the disc to verify it works and label the disc accordingly. You’ll need the product key that came with your computer to activate Windows 7 after reinstalling from scratch.
Note that this won’t work if you have a version of Windows that came preinstalled with your computer. Also make sure you download the correct version of Windows 7 for your needs – to find out which edition (Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate) and type (32-bit or 64-bit) you need, click Start, right-click Computer and select Properties.
